Mrs. Susan Salisbury.

I teach the Graphic Communications classes. I have been teaching for almost 20 years. I have 4 adult children and two grandchildren I adore.
 
Courses offered:

Media Technologies Fundamentals - 1 semester

This course is designed to provide the basic fundamental competencies for the media technologies cluster courses and is to be offered as the beginning course at the freshman/sophomore level. Legal and ethical issues, fundamental tool and equipment skills, transferable knowledge sets, employability skills, communication skills, and terminology used throughout the industry will be discussed.


Graphic Communications Level I & II - 2 semesters each

Graphic Comm I,  II, & III allow for student choice. Students are able to select from the seven courses that align with Adobe industry certifications and choose which one they would like to learn. Projects and creative days are intermixed to allow hands-on projects using real-world application of the skills they are learning.

Yearbook A & B (Capstone) - 1 year

This course provides students with actual hands-on experience associated with producing a conventional student yearbook or a video yearbook. Writing, editing, photographic layout, desktop publishing, and business management skills are emphasized. Students actually perform all the skills necessary to produce a school yearbook. All work will be performed to industry standards.
Full-year commitment required for this class – Students must agree to take sections A & B.
