Hello and welcome to my page!
Hello, I'm Cherrie Moore, and my journey as an educator has spanned the past 16 years. Throughout this time, I've had the pleasure of teaching a diverse range of subjects, including English Language Arts, US History, World History, Exploring Computer Science, Yoga, Crafting, and Film as Literature. Currently, I'm enthusiastically diving into the world of Personal Family Finance, eager to share my knowledge in this vital area. My educational background is a culmination of experiences, from earning a marketing degree at the University of Idaho to obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on Secondary Education from Boise State University. To further enrich my understanding, I pursued a Masters of Information Science at Rutgers University. Most of my teaching career has been dedicated to Idaho, particularly the Treasure Valley, though I've had the privilege of teaching in the Magic Valley and the Palouse for shorter durations.
Outside of the classroom, I find immense joy in a variety of hobbies and activities. Cooking is not just a passion but a creative outlet, and I love experimenting with different cuisines and flavors. Reading has been a lifelong companion, feeding my love for literature, and I'm an avid player of Pokémon Go, always up for new virtual adventures. However, nothing brings me more joy than spending quality time with my family. I have grown children and two wonderful grandsons, aged 12 and 10, who fill my life with laughter and love. I'm a firm believer in the power of laughter and lifelong learning, and these values continue to shape my personal and professional life.
